Located in Saint-André-Avellin in the Outaouais region, Ferme Aux pleines saveurs is more than a farm—it’s a thriving community project built on respect for the land, people, and the environment. For over two decades, this family-run organic farm has been recognized for its diverse, high-quality produce and its commitment to sustainable farming.
A Story of Passion and Deep Roots
In 2002, Martin Turcot and Chantale Vaillancourt—both from farming backgrounds—set out to create a farm aligned with their values: transparency, ecology, and food sovereignty. They started small, delivering 35 weekly CSA baskets in 2003. Within three years, demand had tripled.
Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA)
The farm operates under a CSA model, offering seasonal baskets filled with certified organic vegetables. Members pay in advance, helping fund the season while receiving fresh, local, and eco-responsible produce every week. Baskets are available in summer, fall, and winter formats.
In addition to weekly baskets and homemade products like jams, juices, and pickled goods, Ferme Aux pleines saveurs supplies select Rachelle Béry stores with their certified organic produce. It’s a direct link between local growers and mindful consumers.
Environmentally Conscious and Human-Centered
The farm has invested in eco-friendly practices from the start: composting, biodegradable materials, minimal packaging, and seed selection from local non-GMO sources. Their workforce includes Guatemalan seasonal workers, welcomed each year under fair working conditions.
A Model for Sustainable Agriculture
This Outaouais-based farm proves that it’s possible to grow food differently—with heart, care, and a deep sense of responsibility. Whether through their CSA, retail partnerships, or educational impact, Ferme Aux pleines saveurs continues to inspire a better way to eat and live.
